Ludus latrunculorum, latrunculi, or simply latrones (the game of soldiers), is a two-player strategy board game playedthroughout the Roman Empire. It is generally accepted to be a game of military tactics. Among the Romans, the first mention of latrunculi is found in the roman author Varro (116–27 BC).

It is one of the best intellectual games for kids and adults. Easy to learn! A great present for any occasion.
