There were several game boards incised into the stone roofing slabs of the Temple of Kurna at the ancient city of Thebes on the Nile River in Egypt. This temple is believed to be constructed around 1350 BCE, during the reigns of Rameses I and Seti I. It is known that the ancient Greeks borrowed many board games from the Egyptians and it seems likely that the Cretan game of Pentalpha also originates in Egypt. Heptalpha is a related, but more complex, game.

It is one of the best intellectual games for kids and adults. Easy to learn! A great present for any occasion.

The board games we make are engraved onto faux leather and reinforced with stainless steel eyelets. Easy to transport, pull the cord and the game is packed and ready to go! You may take our games to go while traveling or visiting. When packed, our games don't take up much space, so you may take your board game collection with you easily!
