Halma (from the Greek word ἅλμα meaning "jump") is a strategy board game invented in 1884 by George Howard Monks, an American thoracic surgeon at Harvard Medical School.
Each player has a set of pieces in a distinct color, of the same number as spaces in each side. Each player's turn consists of moving a single piece of one's own color in one of the following plays:
one move to an empty space or one or more jumps over adjacent pieces.
If every space of the opposing side occupied by one's own pieces, the acting player wins.
It is one of the best intellectual games for kids and adults. Easy to learn! A great present for any occasion.
The board games we make are engraved onto faux leather and reinforced with stainless steel eyelets for easy use of the cord. Easy to transport, pull the cord and the game is packed and ready to go! You may take our games to go while traveling or visiting. When packed, our games don't take up much space, so you may take your board game collection with you easily!
