Ban-Sugoroku is a japanese two-player board game played with pieces & dice. Ban means "table" and Sugoroku "douple six". Is similar to western table games such as backgammon but with some differences in rules. The goal is to move all of one's player pieces to their goal area, that is the last six spaces on board.
The game is thought to have been introduced to Japan in the sixth century. It was made illegal several times due to its simple and luck-based nature made it an ideal gambling game.
